What are the English language requirements for international students?
+For undergraduate programs, we require a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (with no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT score of 90. For graduate programs, the requirements are higher: IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100. Some programs may have additional requirements.
Can I apply for multiple programs at once?
+Yes, you can apply for up to three programs in a single application cycle. You will need to rank them in order of preference. If you are accepted to multiple programs, you will need to choose one to enroll in.
What accommodation options are available for international students?
+All first-year international students are guaranteed on-campus housing in our residence halls. After the first year, students can choose to remain in university housing or find private accommodation in Hong Kong. Our International Student Office provides assistance with finding suitable housing options.
How do I apply for a student visa for Hong Kong?
+Once you receive your acceptance letter, our International Student Office will guide you through the visa application process. NITSY will serve as your sponsor for the student visa application. The process typically takes 6-8 weeks, so we recommend applying for admission early to allow sufficient time for visa processing.
Are there any application fee waivers available?
+Yes, application fee waivers are available for applicants demonstrating financial need, refugees, and applicants from certain developing countries. To request a fee waiver, please contact our Admissions Office with supporting documentation before submitting your application.
